Free Personality Reading
Enter your birth date, time, and place to build a Four Pillars (BaZi) chart — the year, month, day, and hour pillars, with a Day Master and Five Elements summary. It covers more than your Chinese zodiac sign.
No BaZi knowledge required
Drawing the chart is only the first step
The chart shows what is in your chart. A full reading goes further and reads the four pillars, the Day Master, the elements, and the relationships between them together.

New to BaZi? Start with these four things
You do not need any BaZi background to read your own result. These four are enough to begin.
1. Four Pillars
The four stem-and-branch pairs formed by your birth year, month, day, and hour.
2. Day Master
The stem of your birth day. It is an important reference point in the chart.
3. Five Elements
How Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water appear across the chart.
4. Overall structure
A full reading looks at how the chart's parts interact, rather than at one piece alone.
What is a BaZi chart?
A BaZi chart converts your birth year, month, day, and hour into four pairs of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches.
Drawing the chart is not the same as interpreting it.
Four Pillars, simply
Year, month, day, and hour each contribute a stem–branch pair. Together they form the chart used for traditional interpretation.
Day Master introduction
The Day Master is the heavenly stem of your day pillar — a useful lens on temperament themes, not a fixed destiny label.
Five Elements introduction
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water describe relative structural presence. Counts are not scientific percentages.
What are the Ten Gods?
In traditional reading, the Ten Gods describe relationships between the Day Master and the other stems and branches, and are often used to think about how different roles and interactions show up.
This free chart does not display Ten Gods. The section above stays within what the deterministic chart can show directly.
Does birth time matter?
Hour refines the chart. If unknown, we keep it unknown and still offer useful day-based insight — we never invent an hour.

Common misconceptions
- BaZi is not just your zodiac animal; the animal is only the birth-year layer.
- The Day Master is an important reference point, not a complete personality label.
- A low element count does not automatically mean that element should be added.
- Drawing the chart is not the same as a complete interpretation.
- Without a birth time, some results are incomplete rather than equally precise.
Frequently asked questions
What details do I need to draw a BaZi chart?
Your birth date, your birth time, and your birthplace. The birthplace is used to resolve the time zone, which anchors the day and hour boundaries.
Can I draw a chart without knowing my birth time?
Yes. You can mark the birth hour as unknown and the chart is drawn from the year, month, and day pillars, with a note that the hour pillar is missing.
What is the Day Master?
The Day Master is the Heavenly Stem of your birth day. Traditional reading treats it as a central reference point for the whole chart.
How is BaZi different from the Chinese zodiac?
The zodiac animal comes from the birth year alone. BaZi also uses the month, day, and hour, which is why two people born under the same animal can have very different charts.
How do I tell which element is missing?
Element counts show how often each element appears, but 'missing' is a reading judgement that depends on the Day Master, the season, and the whole structure, not on the count alone.
Is drawing a chart the same as a BaZi reading?
No. The chart is the factual layer: pillars, Day Master, and element counts. A reading interprets those facts together and is offered for reflection rather than as a fixed prediction.
What can I see in the free chart?
Your four pillars with their stems and branches, your Day Master, and the raw element occurrence counts, plus an explanation of what to look at first.
What is the difference between a birth chart, a chart reading, and fortune-telling?
A Chinese birth chart is the birth information your chart is built from: the year, month, day, and hour of birth. Drawing the chart arranges that information into four pillars. A reading interprets those pillars together. BaZi fortune-telling is a common search phrase, but BaziMuse does not promise fixed predictions; it organises chart structure for reflection.
